From the start of the new year, WhatsApp will stop working on millions of smartphones, including the iPhone and Android. According to the information released on the WhatsApp website, from January 1, 2021,  The older version of Android 4.0.3 and the older version of the iPhone's Operation System 9 will not run the WhatsApp application. WhatsApp will continue to run on smartphones running Android 4.0.3 and newer, while iPhones with newer versions including operating system 9. After this change, WhatsApp will stop working on iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and 5S, iPhone 6 and 6S. WhatsApp will not run on smartphones with Android operating system on Samsung S2, HTC Desire, Motorola Droid Razr, LG Optimus Black after January 1.
